To ripen, keep at room temperature in a paper bag or near an ethylene producing fruit such as banana to speed up the ripening process. If you only need part of an avocado, leave the seed in the uneaten section and squeeze a little lemon or lime on the exposed surface to prevent it going black. Store in an airtight container or wrapped in a beeswax wrapper.



Mash up, add a little lemon or lime juice to preserve colour and pop into an airtight container before freezing.

Use it up!

Smoothies, dips and our delicious Avocado Aioli are a great way to use up avocado. Defrost frozen avocado in the fridge and use in Guacamole, dressings or as a spread.
