Best Storage:

Pantry or Fridge

Uncooked: Pantry or cupboards.
Cooked: Fridge or Freezer

Raw: Store in air tight container. White rice can be stored indefinitely. Use brown rice within 12 months as it may go rancid due to oils within the outer shell). If cooked, cool quickly and place into an airtight container in your fridge. Use within a couple of days or alternatively transfer to the freezer.

Freezer?

Yes - cooked rice

Place cooked rice in an airtight container in your freezer and use within a couple of months - label with date cooked and frozen.

Use it up!

Use frozen rice as a base for other dishes or as an easy go to for pre-cooked rice when you’re busy!
